By using this site, filling out a form or survey, or submitting an application to SCM, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. SCM may disclose information received from visitors and coaching students where SCM reasonably believes that disclosure of such information is necessary to comply with law (including court and government orders, and civil subpoenas) or to SCM’s agents and advisors, so that they may provide their services to SCM, and only under strict confidentiality restrictions.
Information Collection, Use, and Sharing:
Personal Information: To provide a more personalized user experience, our website uses tracking cookies. By continuing to use this website, you consent to the use of our cookies. When you download something from this site, such as an eBook, we may ask you to provide us with personally identifiable information that can be used to maintain communication with you about professional coaching, positive psychology, neuroscience, and related topics. If you are a student of an SCM coach training program that is approved by the ICF (International Coach Federation) we may need to share some information with them about you. We will share only the information they require for program approval or for your coach certification.
Hubspot: SCM stores tracking information via Hubspot, which encrypts such information for security reasons. Neither SCM nor Hubspot will sell or share your personally identifiable tracking information to anyone for any reason unless required by law.
SurveyMonkey: If you fill out an SCM survey or an application for an SCM training program, your information will be stored and encrypted by SurveyMonkey.
GoToTraining: If you register for and attend SCM webinars, your information will be stored and encrypted by GoToTraining, as will your attendance data, any tests you take, or evaluations you submit. If you speak during a live class, your voice may be recorded.
PayPal: We process payments via PayPal, which stores and encrypts your payment information.
SCM exercises no control over these third party sites and their privacy practices.
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the top of your web browser or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
