1. Happy Birthday: Save $100 or $1,000 |
Lots of auspicious milestones were passed this month at SCM. For instance, we are now, as you might have heard, one year old! We've learned to walk and - watch out - we're learning to run! We've also written, taught and recorded all the Mastery modules - They are the backbone of our coach-training curriculum and the basis for IAC Certification.
Yay!
And as Natalie Tucker Miller and I have frequently commented to each other, we have amazing students who are becoming terrific coaches.
To celebrate, here's a $100 discount coupon code to use when you register for the Full Coach Training Program (for new coaches) or the Certified Coach Training Program (for experienced coaches). This discount is good through June 30th. Just use it when you sign up online or mention it when you register by phone. (Do you know someone else
who is considering coach training? Do them a favor and pass this opportunity to save on to them.)
Online registration: http://www.schoolofcoachingmastery.com/programs.html To register by phone: 877-224-2780
Coupon Code: HAPPYBIRTHDAY (Good only though June 30th)
Do hurry. Now that the core curriculum is completed and several upgrades have
been added, the introductory fees for both of our Coach Training Programs will go up by $1,000 on September 1st. This summer is a great time to get started and save!

Mastery Coach Tip of The Month - Mastery 3: Engaged Listening |
|
The following is from the Mastery 3, Class #1 Coaching Guide: The Power of Silence. To learn more about this crucial skill, enroll in the upcoming module, M3 Engaged Listening, here.
An agenda is a kind of filter. It comes from your conditioning and is a product of your ego. To listen well, you need to step out of
your ego and into your Higher Self.
|
Listening with filters on (listening from ego)
|
Actually noticing (listening from Self)
|
|
Listening for an opening to ask the "right" question.
Listening for how you can sound smart, important, or funny.
Listening for what can be added.
Getting caught in the details.
Getting caught in the drama.
Judging, assessing, feeling self-conscious.
Listening to internal distractions - your own thoughts and emotions.
Listening to external distractions.
Listening for how the story relates to you.
Listening for how you can benefit.
Listening for how you can be right.
Listening for juicy gossip.
|
Listening for what's going on with the client.
Listening to understand them.
Listening for what has meaning for them.
Listening for how they are right.
Listening for their strengths, passions and who they are becoming.
Listening to see if/how you can help.
Listening according to what you're curious about.
Listening for what they are curious about.
Listening for what needs to be known.
Listening for what needs removing.
Listening for solutions.
Listening for perfection.
Listening for greatness and potential greatness.
|
Listening without a filter requires removing your agenda and just being 100% for your client.
