However, for most coaches it's the confidence of knowing they know what they know that helps them attract more paying clients. Still others simply feel it's the right thing to do. If you're a member of our Ultimate Coach Training Program, we'll give you a license to teach our curriculum when you get certified by us, plus many more advantages.

How to become an SCM Certified Coach or Certified Master Coach:

A. SCM Certified Coach

1. Step 1: 5 recommendations from 5 clients (paid or unpaid) that you have coached for 3 months or longer, each. (Demonstrates results, ethics, service, professionalism)

2. Step 2: Once your 5 recommendations are in, submit two 30-minute live (over the phone or in-person) coaching sessions that score 76% or higher when graded by 3 certifiers. (Confirms proficiency-level skills)

3. Once you've achieved the SCM-CC, you'll need to maintain it by turning in 5 recommendations from 5 additional clients (paid or unpaid), annually that you have coached for 3 months or longer, each. (Demonstrates continuation of results, ethics, service, professionalism) There is a $100USD fee per year to maintain your certification and license.

SCM-CC's are encouraged to upgrade to SCM Certified Master Coach, when they are ready.

B. SCM Certified Master Coach

1. Step 1: 5 recommendations from 5 clients (paid, only) that you have coached for 3 months or longer, each. (Demonstrates results, ethics, service, professionalism at a more discerning level)

2. Step 2: Once your 5 recommendations are in, submit two 30-minute live (over the phone or in-person) coaching sessions that score 90% or higher when graded by 3 certifiers. (Confirms master-level skills) If your averaged score is between 76 and 89, you'll be awarded the SCM-CC.

3. Once you've achieved the SCM-CMC, you'll need to maintain it by turning in 5 recommendations from 5 additional clients (paid, only), annually that you have coached for 3 months or longer, each. (Demonstrates continuation of results, ethics, service, professionalism) There is a $100USD fee per year to maintain your certification and license.

If one or more sessions does not pass, you may submit again at the rate of $200USD per additional session.
