Ellen is the creator of “Simplify Networking”, a coaching business that helps clients to incorporate the networking skills they need to succeed into their daily lives.
Ellen believes that trust-building is essential to any great collaboration. The deciding factor in the success or failure of a business is often a leader's approach to other people: how they connect with others, build and deepen their network, and articulate their purpose and message.
Throughout her 20-year corporate career, Ellen’s ability to make connections and develop others led to multiple sales management awards and gave her the opportunity to be an integral part of both the management assessment process and management training.
In 2001, Ellen began teaching small business owners how to use networking and marketing principles to build their businesses. Recently, she worked as a “Dear Abby of Networking” on a community site for professionals, where she taught others how to use these skills to further their careers. Her coaching practice for individual professionals has been a natural outgrowth of that work. She delights in her role as guide for clients, holding the mirror for them to celebrate their own strengths, and holding the light so they may see their path more clearly.
