I am committed to bringing about the best in myself, others and the community at large. Questions, properly framed, and asked at key moments are a wellspring of insight. Listening with active and deep intent toward the client's highest good is a constant goal of mine. I have experience in Management, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Event Planning, Teaching and currently own and run a busy Medical Practice.
I graduated from University of South Florida with a BA in Fine Art. Upon graduating, I completely ignored all practical advice and became a Professional Vocalist. For 16 years, I worked night clubs, Disney, studio gigs, I subbed for more bands than I can remember, traveled the Skorman circuit, and held long standing house gigs. I booked some of the bands myself and also worked with booking agents. I was MC for numerous weddings and corporate events. I was paid well to do what I loved. During that time, I also married and gave birth to beautiful twins, a boy and a girl. I had an "ideal" life.
In 2003, I found myself divorced and severely injured from a massive car accident. In the span of 30 days, I lost my health, my marriage, my career, essentially my identity. Recovery was slow, but I am eternally grateful for the experience I have been through. I found that there is strength to draw from when you don't think you have any. I found that there is always a way when we put our fears aside, recognize the task before us and follow our heart. I found peace in the storm. There are great gifts to be found in great adversity.
Today, I am thrilled to be working toward IAC certification as a Professional Coach. I believe that the foundation of directed and thorough training, along with my life experiences uniquely qualifies me to help others achieve their GREATNESS.
